Historic Quarry Park - Moruya
Historic Quarry Park is an idyllic picnic area located on the shores of the beautiful Moruya River. Bring a picnic or some supplies to throw on the barbecue and sit back and enjoy the view.
Moruya Golf Club
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Eurobodalla Coast, the Moruya Golf Club features an 18 hole championship course. A favourite amongst members and visitors alike, the course continues to improve and evolve into a truly picturesque and challenging layout. The club includes a fully equipped Pro Shop with expert tuition from Club Professional Rob Green, so all your golfing needs can be catered for. Complemented by full club facilities, including the Double Restaurant, plus conference and wedding facilities, the club is a must for your next visit to the Eurobodalla Coast.
Moruya Heads Lookout
Moruya Heads lookout offers superb coastal views taking in the scenic mouth of Moruya River. In spring, bring your binoculars for whale watching as these gentle giants migrate south back towards the Southern Ocean for another summer of feeding on krill. Enjoy a picnic with friends and family in this beautiful part of Eurobodalla National Park.
Moruya Kayaking Trail - East
The region's rural heritage and unique granite is evident along the banks of this river which winds past the historic town of Moruya. For a 14 kilometre return trip launch into shallow water at North Head campground near the airport, or at the Moruya town boat ramp in Riverside Park, east of Moruya Bridge. Look out for mangrove forests along the way.
Moruya Museum
The Moruya Museum houses a collection of furniture, books, artefacts and memorabilia, intended to show visitors the lives of ordinary people from the middle of the 1800s. Most items on display were donated by local families, resulting in an eclectic mix of considerable charm and interest.
Shelley Beach
Shelly Beach at Moruya Heads is a popular family recreational spot at the mouth of the Moruya River. At the eastern end of the beach you will find a picturesque picnic area just perfect for taking a break. Sit back and enjoy the views or take a refreshing swim or walk along the beach.
